The APBD’s main role is to strengthen the private owned enterprises with high growth potential (especially SMEs) whose main business is production (with focus on value addition) and trade of priority animal products for Rwanda, as reflected in National Development Plans. Milk & Meat; Dairy products as well as products derived from Animal Hides & Skins constitute the main priorities for Rwanda in the short and medium term.
