1. How do I acquire permits for Gorilla Trekking?

Permits for Gorilla Trekking, Golden Monkeys, Chimpanzees & Angolan
Colobus Monkeys, Birding, Game drives, Nature walks, and more are all
available through the RDB Tourism & Conservation Reservation Office.

3. How do I get from the airport to town?


Taxis from the Airport to anywhere in Kigali are readily available when you
exit the airport. Transportation should cost you between 5,000 and 10,000
Rwandan Francs (USD $10-$20)

4. What currency is accepted in Rwanda?


The Rwandan Franc (Frw/Rwf) is the legal currency in Rwanda. American
Dollars and Euros are accepted in some hotels and restaurants however
expect to receive your change in Rwandan Francs. You can access information
on exchange rates on a daily basis through the National Bank of Rwanda http://www.bnr.rw/

5. Where can I get information on accommodation?


Rwanda has a variety of accommodation, from high-end hotels in the heart of

6. What tours of Kigali are available?


The Kigali City Tour is available on a daily basis and gives you a glimpse of the city’s history, Kigali during the 1994 Tutsi Genocide, and the growth of the ‘new Kigali’.
